Livestock

All tarantulas and spider orders are dispatched via our livestock option, these orders are shipped via Royal Mail Special Delivery (RMSD).

We aim to ship orders every Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday aiming for next-day arrival before 1PM.

Please note: All orders are shipped in a queue basis, so during busier periods your delivery date may change.

We will be in touch with you via email 48 hours before shipping to confirm a postage date, if this date is unsuitable then you can request a change of date by emailing us.

A postage fee of £11 will be applied at checkout.

Please note:

  • Changes to Postage: Postage costs may be subject to change during colder periods. If a heat pack is required, any amendment to the postage charge will be clearly displayed on the checkout page.

  • Preferred Delivery Day: If no one is available to sign for the delivery, you can request a preferred arrival day by emailing us.

  • Delays: In the event of unforeseen delays (e.g., freezing temperatures, postal strikes) preventing us from posting on schedule or on your preferred date, you will be informed immediately via email to rearrange delivery.

  • Shipping Area: We currently only ship within England, Scotland, and Wales.

Dry Goods

All equipment orders, such as enclosures is shipped out using our Dry Goods shipping option, these orders are shipped via Royal Mail 24hr.

A postage fee of £6.99 will be applied at checkout.

Pre-Orders

If you have placed an order for any products that were on pre-order then your order will be dispatched at the time the pre-order product is in stock. All pre-order products are clearly marked with the date they will be available.

Live Arrival Guarantee

We guarantee live arrival for all livestock orders shipped via Royal Mail Special Delivery (RMSD), subject to the conditions below.

  • Void Guarantee Conditions:

    • The guarantee will be void if no one is present to take or sign for the delivery, resulting in a delay in transit.

    • The guarantee will also be void if delivery is delayed due to an incorrect delivery address being provided.

  • Postal Service Delays: Any delays in transit caused by the postal service will not affect your live arrival guarantee.

In Case of D.O.A. (Dead on Arrival)

Even with careful packaging, postal delays or other unforeseen circumstances can occur.

  • Packaging: Livestock is individually packaged in appropriately sized plastic containers, cushioned with paper towels.

  • Refund/Replacement: In the unfortunate event of a D.O.A. (Dead on Arrival), you are entitled to either a full refund or a replacement under our live arrival guarantee.

  • Proof Required: To process a refund or replacement, you will be asked to provide a clear picture of the animal. In some cases, we may also require the animal to be returned.

  • Notification Window: This guarantee will be void if we are not informed of any D.O.A. within the first 2 hours of you receiving the parcel.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • For our livestock orders the cost of shipping is £11. For dry goods the cost is £6.99.

  • We take great care in ensuring all of our livestock is safely packed in the appropriate sized containers and cushioned with paper towels.

  • We ship every Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. However, there can be delays to shipping during busier periods, weather changes, postal strikes etc.

  • Currently we only ship to England, Scotland and Wales.
